Designing your unique ski touring holiday in Voss
We are happy to prepare a personal and tailored ski holiday itinerary for you. After receiving your initial request, we will contact you by phone to get an impression of what you would like to do during your holidays, what your preferences are and what services we may offer. We check the availability and capacity at our partners, before presenting a free, detailed offer to you.
The total price of your itinerary depends on several factors, such as accommodation, number of nights, equipment needs, lift passes, group size, transportation needs and more.
A typical all inclusive-itinerary includes:
- Your own competent and certified private ski guide for as many days as you like.
- Accommodation, including breakfasts and dinners.
- All transportation needed after arriving Voss.
- Guiding and instruction while ski touring or off-piste skiing.
- All necessary avalanche safety equipment (shovel, probe, transceiver).
- Rental skis for the duration.
- Pre-trip information and planning.
- Coverage of all our guides’ costs during your stay.
- Ski passes in Voss Resort and/or Myrkdalen.

Wednesday
Independent travel to Voss via Bergen Airport Flesland. Transfer to Bergen train station by either the airport shuttle bus or by the light rail. Catch a train from Bergen to Voss, where you get picked up by hosts from your hotel. If you prefer getting picked up at the airport, we are happy to organise it. Meet your Wild Voss guide in the evening for introductions.
Thursday
Off-piste skiing with a guide in Voss Resort or Myrkdalen. We start the day by collecting rental skis, taking our time to ensure it all fits you well. We hit some easy slopes to get a feel for the equipment and brush up on our skiing techniques. We explore suitable off-piste terrain, looking for untouched snow and enjoyable ski terrain. Learning how to use your personal avalanche equipment is also part of the agenda on the first day.
Friday
Ski touring in the mountains near Voss. Your guide picks you up at your hotel in the morning. The goal of the day: Finding a safe route that has the best snow conditions. Your guide suggests a couple of good route options based on the current snow conditions, your skill level and your ambitions. During your ski touring excursion, your guide will provide insights into avalanche safety topics and safe travel routines. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel after the trip.
Saturday
Ski touring day in the mountains near Voss. The objective of the day could be the same as the day before, or to seek out a mountain with exceptional fjord views. If conditions suggest it: How about running a few powder laps in untouched snow on a forested hillside? If you’d rather spend this day off-piste skiing or doing something else, we are happy to suggest other alternatives. How about snowshoeing in the peaceful Raundalen? Or perhaps you would like to try nordic skiing in the lovely groomed tracks of Voss Resort?
Sunday
Travel day – return to Bergen Airport Flesland and then back home. If you plan your return flight well, you could still have time for a couple of hours of resort skiing before catching your train from Voss. Your guide will gladly assist you when returning your skiing equipment – if necessary. Your hotel will be happy to provide transportation to the train station. We could also organise transportation by car directly from Voss to the airport.

The above itinerary provides an example of what we could organise for you. We are happy to suggest both longer and shorter itineraries. This boutique hotel used to be a farm. Indeed, some of the food served in the hotel restaurant is grown on the fields right outside of their windows.
